“ Stopped in here today for an açai bowl. You can create your own or they have premade ones including they also have a wide variety of smoothies, healthy shots and Sammies. We got an Aussie bowl with granola, mangoes, kiwi, and blueberries. 12 ounce size could've put anything in for $14. The fruit is so fresh and it's a delicious. Highly recommend. . ”
“ I went with a build your own acai bowl and the ingredients that I believe are a must order are: COCO base (10/10), chia pudding, almond butter, blueberries, and granola of course The coco base tastes like coconut ice cream, too good This place has a great selection of acai bowls and smoothies. Price is pretty avg for the area, maybe a little more expensive than other acai spots but I'd say this is one of the better acai bowls I've had in SD so worth a try! ”

“ I stopped in on a Sunday morning to find a cute and relaxing atmosphere. I got an avocado toast and wellness shot. The toast was fresh and light, perfect for a snack. The shot was delicious but served in a small plastic container (typically used for to-go sauce) which made a bit of a mess. All in all, good experience and will definitely be back. ”

“ I returned to Roots Bowls and this time got the Purple Moon bowl (ube & white coconut base). It was super good, on the sweeter side than the North Park bowl I had the last time. That being said, I do think I prefer the North Park bowl more for its matcha flavor. If you're looking for something a bit more dessert-like, then the Purple Moon bowl is a good option. All the toppings go so well together. I would definitely recommend both the North Park bowl & purple moon bowl and would happily get either again. ”
“ Best acai bowl ive ever had. I absolutely love that you can create your own bowl here. They had so many base choices that you could choose from as well as a large variety of fruits, granola and toppings. I created my own bowl with the bases: matcha, acai, chia pudding, and mango. Fruits: pineapple, strawberry, blueberries Toppings: matcha powder and honey. Everything was so sweet and the flavors all melded together so perfectly. Would come again! ”
“ Don't come here if you want to want to avoid an Acai Bowl addiction. You've been warned. The bowls here are consistently well made and filled to the brim with ingredients. Til the very end, each bite can be combined with the ample acai and fruits. At other places I often have the acai turn into a watery smoothie and have never had that issue here. Great spot for people watching or grabbing a refreshing cool treat! ”
